Collection The foremost European collection of Tibetan art and cultural objects acquired by the museum in 1998 now forms the heart of the Central and East Asia collection. Initially never a focus of the museum's collections, the region is now well represented with pieces including, for example, scientifically and artistically important items from China and Japan. Textiles from East Asia have always been a special feature, too. |
