EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR SCHOOLS

The Education and Outreach Service offers a wide range of educational and cultural events for different target groups.

The Museum der Kulturen invites you to explore the cultures of the world in many different ways. The Education & Outreach Service offers a broad selection of further education courses for teachers and their pupils, adapted to the visitors and the age group.

The Museum der Kulturen’s education and outreach programme seeks to encourage dialogue with the public, offering in-depth and expert knowledge. It also provides an opportunity to experience and discuss selected topics in a personal atmosphere. Guided tours and workshops are geared towards the needs and wishes of the different visitor groups.

Educational tours and workshops are free of charge for schools located in the cantons Basel-Stadt and Basel-Land. For schools from other cantons and from abroad, a charge of CHF 180.00 is made during opening hours. An application must be made at least 14 days in advance.
